One child policy makes sure that people would not give birth to too many children. It prevents from the country being too over populated. If there is too many people, they would not have enough land for everyone to stay in a clean environment. Those that are not staying in a clean environment might become ill with a serious disease. and when they go to the town to get food, the people around might get affected and could even die from it.
